Fees

The TAPS National Military Survivor Seminar and Good Grief Camp is offered to those grieving the loss of a loved one who served in our nation's Armed Forces at minimal costs to survivors. 

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and sponsors, TAPS will provide most meals and all activities at no cost to you. You'll need to cover the cost of lodging and your transportation to and from Arlington, Virginia.

Lodging

Most events and workshops will take place at the host hotel, Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Virginia.

Special Note: Due to a high number of attendees and hotel rooms booked the TAPS discounted rate and block is full. The hotel does have availability at a higher rate and you can book a room by calling 703-920-3230. You may also continue to check with the hotel to see if anyone in our block has cancelled a room. If someone cancels a room in our block it will go back into our block. There is no lodging waitlist for the event so if a room becomes available in our block it will be first come first serve. You may also look at neighboring hotels, but TAPS does not have a discounted rate at any other hotel. Sorry for any inconvenience. Please reach out to lodging@taps.org with any questions.

Crystal Gateway Marriott offers an on-site restaurant in addition to a fitness center and access to the Crystal City Shops and eateries.

Hotel Parking and Airport Shuttle Information

Hotel Parking: $45 daily

If arriving from the Reagan National Airport, free airport shuttles will be available to take you to and from the hotels. You can also take the metro directly to the Crystal City stop (directly under the hotel). If using other forms of transportation, please reference the hotel name Crystal Gateway Marriott to your driver.

Every 30 minutes from 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Terminal 1: Pick up outside baggage claim at "Hotel Shuttle" stop
